Newcastle-based coffee purveyors Pumphrey’s had quite a

story to tell. 250 years' worth in fact.

They were founded in 1750, when George II was on the throne. Interestingly, George was the last British monarch to lead his troops into battle, but that's quite another kettle of fish, or should I say pot of coffee!
