Great, you got to this page, that means that perhaps you found my website of interest. I know there was a lot to read, but I hope you found some of the backstories entertaining. As someone once said, “You can’t bore people into buying your stuff.”

I follow The Business of Creativity, a fantastic weekly bulletin of ideas and perspectives on how creativity can power business success. Sir John Hegarty is the brains behind it, co-founder of advertising titans, Bartle Bogle Hegarty. 

 

I heard Sir John at a talk once. He quite rightly waxed lyrical about BBH's achievements. Levis, Audi and the like.

When it came to questions, I asked him if he ever did any ’shite’ to coin a phrase. I know I have, he laughed and said “bucket loads,” which made me feel a lot better about my efforts.

 

If you sometimes struggle to do great stuff, remember, it’s all part of the journey. Getting things wrong normally leads you to do things

better next time. The important thing is to never give up trying to do great!.
