Opal supplied our computers and software in the early days of Hedley McEwan, my old agency.

They asked us to create a magazine campaign for them. As a creative, you’re never quite sure of where your ideas come from, but I think I know the source

of this one!

I chose The Surrealists as my subject for my A Level Art thesis. My favourite Surrealist was, and still is René Magritte.

His works are just filled with great visual ideas. This idea is pure Rene.

A tip for young creatives here, fill your head with influences, it may be music, history, literature or in this case, art.

Your head needs to be a playground for ideas to exercise in.
